Lockdown Painting

This is day 1 of my lockdown painting started on May 11 2020. canvas Finished size 1780x1180mm

A pre-primed canvas batoned to wall and then given and extra coat of gesso to pull the canvas taught and smoothe the weave.

Initial drawing and first washes of paint.

Emotions today. frustrated because of the lies being expounded by Governments around the world who have us all under house arrest while they impose regime changes and rules of behaviour to which we the electorate have not agreed.

Emotions everyday are towards finding permanence, love, compassion and meaning in a world where everything eats everything else.
